This Kidde smoke alarm will automatically activate when it is attached making installation simple and easy. The sealed-in board-mounted battery will power the Kidde detector for its complete 10-year life. The i9010 also features Hush technology, allowing consumers to temporarily silence nuisance alarms, and an Alarm Memory feature that alerts the user via rapidly flashing LED lights if the alarm has sounded since the last time the test/reset button was used. At the end of the i90 It includes features such as Hush, Alarm Memory, and a Self-Activation Mechanism. No replacement battery will ever be needed, and an End-of-Life alert indicates when it is time to replace the alarm. This alarm uses ionization sensing technology. Ionization sensing alarms may detect invisible fire particles (associated with flaming fires).
